Wine gums, the chewy gum drops that were first produced in 1880, in a confections kitchen in Stamford Hill, London are fun fruity colourful sweets that normally come in shapes including diamond, circle, rounded rectangle, kidney and oval. Despite the name "Wine Gums" it is alcohol free.
